In the background or out front, Jon has been playing keyboards and singing for more than 30 years in Boston, San Francisco, Miami, and Raleigh, North Carolina. Albums he has played on have been reviewed in Billboard, Downbeat, and No Depression. 

Jon has shared the stage with Hubert Sumlin, Susan Cowsill and Will McFarlane, and is heard on XM Satellite radio’s "Bluesville" channel. Jon played on the CD “We Are Mighty Lester,” the winner of Best Self-Produced CD at the 2007 International Blues Challenge.

"I've played music everywhere from house parties and hotels to roadhouses and prisons, in the city and in the middle of nowhere. The only thing I've ever wanted to do is to play in a band, and I'm going to do it until I drop. Then I'm going to get up again."
